But cats can also purr when they're scared or in pain. ya.sure yup i think so. it sounds so nice. yeppies of course! i also like it when the do little meows as a kitten im a guy and it makes me all cuddly :D Yes, but not when it's 2 AM and you're sound asleep when the cat starts purring in your flippin' ear. Although no-one has figured out by what mechanism the sound of the Cat's purr comes from, I don't care.

Yes, it's lovely to get a purr, especially from a cat that you have been trying to tame & make confident. That 1st purr is always a thrill. Also very sothing & relaxing to have a purring cat beside you.
