Why does my cat try to trip me u..

Ok well not exactly trip me up i know hes being affectiont by rubbing against my leg but why do it when im walking? It worrys me that ill accidentaly .. 

Ok well not exactly trip me up i know hes being affectiont by rubbing against my leg but why do it when im walking? It worrys me that i'll accidentaly kick him one day as he tends to creep up from the back and i often don't see him coming, how can i stop him doing this?

hes just playing with u and feels close to you. obviously u have a good bond. i wouldnt worry bout it,cats are far more on the ball bout when they will get stood on than u know. he follows u cos he loves u. id be delighted if my cat would do that. Unfortunately, all cats do this and there's very little you can do. Just be extra careful. Because he is hungry. he is marking you with his scent to let other cats know that you are his property. becuse he probble likes to be around u. I have no idea how to stop him from doing that, but my cat will attack me while I'm walking, she'll run up and smack the back of my legs, it's funny when I turn around and she's in the air jumping at me.

"LOT" that's not true, my cat never rubs up against my legs or is as affectionate as most cats.. My cat is a goofball weirdo..lol to get attention its say hey you play with me dogs do this too well it is hard to say, but once you have ended up stepping on him he might think twice about getting under your feet while you walk. Try not to give attention until you have decided to stop on your own. If you stop and give attention to this behavior then he will keep doing it. Your cat is trying to tell you something, he's desperate for attention, mine does this when she is hungry or wants me to stroke her. If i were you, i'd try and make him associate rubbing against you when you're walking with something bad so whenever he does it lightly spray him with water until he learns its a bad idea. because it hates you, and it wants you dead Cats bond with their owner to a certain degree and will constantly rub themselves against the animals and people they live with, as they are inside its territory and therefore worthy of scent-marking. Cats have scent glands along teir jawline, which is usually the area they use to rub against your legs. They will do this if you are at rest or walking. They always do this because if something moves within their territory they will scent-mark it to compensate for the move. This applies also to your legs when you walk! The only way to really prevent it from happening is to keep the cat away from areas of the house where it could cause an accident - the kitchen, near stairs, etc. My cat does the same thing. I try to be careful, but I agree with the poster who said that if he takes a tumble or two he might be more careful in the future. Cats really are smart animals.
