Ive been posting about my website lately, and people were talking about having problems with it. It became obvious today that someone was on my server..
I've been posting about my website lately, and people were talking about having problems with it. It became obvious today that someone was on my server and able to disconnect other people from the stream. I noticed that somehow they were avoiding showing up on the "event log" of people (ip addresses) which shows me who/when people connect and disconnect.
Why would someone do that?
Its a street cat rescue website with live streaming video of the kitties needing homes. Its at http://www.kittiesinthehood.com.
Now I have to have a security guy come in and check it out.

Because they can and they're immature bullies who attempt to make up for their inadequacies by destroying other people's stuff. You're dealing with the information-age equivalent of teens driving down the street and smashing mailboxes with a baseball bat. Some people just like dogs.
