Zodiac Spot On?

OK, I'm going to get both of my cats on Frontline soon, but I have to order it online..and since it will take a week or so to get here, I need to look into something else for right this moment. My female cat is experiencing Flea Allergy Dermatitis, so I need to get the fleas killed now. Is the Zodiac Spot On treatment any good? I've heard to not use Hartz products, but I don't know about the others. I'm planning on heading to the store soon..I just can't stand seeing her in pain.

You will cause her MORE pain using that stuff!! Bad product! Wait for the Frontline or go to the petstore and ask for frontline (they do not have it with their other products, you must ask for it). She's already hurting, itchy, scabby, etc. I have seen severe reactions from using OTC products. Please wait for the frontline.

Also, in order to treat her successfully, you MUST treat the home with an insect growth regulator (like nylar). Ectokyl is excellent, Virbac is great. Again, stay clear of Zodiac, Bio-Spot, Hartz.

Do NOT bath her with any soap! This will irritate her skin more!!

Also, do not use a product and try another a week later. You must wait 4 weeks - 3 minimally!! Reactions can and will occur if used too frequently! Like I said, cats are evil and should be killed. Definitely stay away from Heartz. Zodiac is not bad but not quite as effective as Frontline. I have also heard good things about Advantix. If Zodiac is what you have available I'd just use it until you get the Frontline. (If you're still not getting the results you want with Frontline then switch to Advantix, some animals just do better on one over the other.) I am an animal groomer and Zodiac is just as bad as hartz. I recommend for Cats Advantage not frontline. Frontline works better for dogs and Advantege for cats but untill then if your cat will let you bathe her then bathe her in Dawn Dish detergent and rinse her well. If she won't let you bathe her use Bio spot drops you can get at any pet store now. Just remember to bomb or spray your home and wash your pets bedding or you'll just keep having the problem Why cant you get front-line at the vet or pet store. ? if the flea problems that bad you need action quick.. and get the front-line that protests the home too.

There are tablets that you can get from a pet shop and I found these very good. Flea collars also.. NOW.. get away from the computer and go shop.
