My dog is 59 days pregnant today, her what looked like a mucus plug passed earlier today, an since then she is not moving alot, an now we have her in ..

I took her temp a few hours ago an she was at 98.6 now she is back at 100. but she is panting for at least 30 min. an then standing facing the wall just panting. is she in labor?? How soon till the pups start coming?

she is probably going into labor. make her a nice warm, dry bed good luck yup sounds like she's in labor. My dog usually starts having her pups within about 6 hrs of when her panting starts, but every dog is different.

Serious Problems:

If the mother fails to go into labor within twenty-four hours after her body temperature drops to below 100F you should take the dog to a veterinarian. It sounds like she is starting in labor. It could take a while. If she pushes for more than 90 min with no puppy then you need to go to the vet. She can be in labor for a day or more but should never actively push for one puppy for more than an hour and a half or two hours. it sure sounds like labour. ring a vet, explain whats going on and make sure you have an emergency number in case there is any problems. our dogs took upto 24 hours to deliver all puppies, depending on litter size.
