I have also seen boy dogs pee when they get excited too. I think it's just something that happens to them, but if you're concerned call your vet's office. I don't know if there is a treatment or not, sorry. Your dog is just happy! Is she a Cocker Spaniel?

If you dont wanna pay the bill, call anonymously and get advice. narrow down what makes her excited and happy if its you coming home from work try to leave and come back numerous times to make her feel like its no big deal. Do the same with other activities that make her lose control it takes a bit of time but she is just that excited you have to make things the norm and she will settle down.

She could also have a urinary problem check with the vet then start a chill out program if she is okay! Good luck! if you can anticipate why the dog gets too excited, try to let her out to pee before that happens. Our dog used to do that when guests would come over, so we told people not to give her any attention and we let her out to pee. after she did her thing, we let her back in and she was fine.

I've found the best way to avoid this is to take her out immediately when I get home and if we have a visitor have them ignore her until she's over being so excited. If she is excites/happy when you or other people come into the house, DO NOT SHOW HER AFFECTION. Just ignore her, she is becoming unstable and if you show any type of affection you are telling her its ok to be unstable. Good Luck KG im not sure but my nieghbor has a female dog too and when ever she see her owners come home she pees.but i think that its just that they caint hold it in. escpecially when they see the owner that they love. that happened to my dog too. he will either grow out of it which is what happened to my dog, or he will continue in adulthood and you wont be able to stop it.
