My GSD had one floppy ear around the same age, I gave him calcium and his ear was standing within 2 weeks. dOESN'T A VET HAVE TO ''CROP'' HIS EARS? You'll need to have the ears clipped. yes thats right if u dog has floppy ears..there can be 2 yrs old dog w/floppy ears DONT get his ears cropped or clipped or in any way surgically altered. They will develop themselves he is still a baby. If you want you can try a little tape around his ear to try and prop it up, but in the end, what will it matter if his ears flop? Its cute :D most bulldogs ears are cut when they are born so they wont flop and yours probally werent cut French bulldogs do not have their ears cropped. Contact your breeder to find out when their puppies generally have their ears stand up!! Our Border Collie has one floppy ear still at almost 5 months old. Our trainer suggested adding a vitamin suppliment to her food to give a little extra to help the ear stand properly. French bullldog ears are naturally errect - but 9 weeks is rather soon to expect them to come up.. If it doesn't have the CORRECT GENES,it NEVER will.

If it's a REAL"QUALITY" speciman,you should be helping the ears to stand properly by TAPING them.Just a 3-4 inches of masking tape ,around the ear for support.
