He's very spry and spiffy, but is now deaf as a doornail and getting blinder by the minute. He's half lhasa and half yorkie. Cute little muttly.
We ponder over what we will do when he leaves us. But when it comes down to it, he's such a staple, we'll just all probably freak.

Sigh. There's really no way of knowing this, and it's probably best that you don't know. Just try to enjoy whatever time you have left and make the most of of it. Spoil him rotten for all the years of love happiness that he gave you :-)

So, continue to treat him well, enjoy every moment you have with him, and cherish the memories. He will go eventually.
