Get a shampoo w/oatmeal in it. No, don't use that, my dog has that stuff too, you need to go to the vet, I recomend petsmart. They give you really healthy shampoo and spray on conditioner. I love that stuff, it works like a charm. You especially want to you it if:
*your dog gets bumps on its belly, and they swell and tun pink
*your dog likes to lick it's feet alot
*and your dog scratches himself alot.
By the way, schnoauzers and terriors get skin problelms alot. my dog is a terrior, (westie) and he gets it alot, but he hasn't latley because I use the stuff faithfully, it is not alot of work either. Use a gentle dog shampoo for your schnauzer.
Also groom him regularly and brush his fur with a soft bristled brush.
Get an anti -tick vial for monthly application!
Avoid giving him human food or food with preservatives.
Hope it works!! dont use it, he most likely has allergies dry skin or dust mites. try getting a sensative skin shampoo from a PET STORE something with oatmeal in it would prolly work really well.. just dont use ur own shampoo on him if he has allergies you could make it worse
