Brief：
the female setter is a puppy and really afraid of staying in the car.since 2month she goes with my friend by car for a couple of hours,but she is stil.. 

the female setter is a puppy and really afraid of staying in the car.since 2month she goes with my friend by car for a couple of hours,but she is still afraid,spitting the whole time,shaking..even with other dogs together she is afraid.he tried to put her in a cage while driving,but it was worse.who could consider my friend anything that could make his dog to feel more comfortable in the car?

Chamomile tea works very well, and is safe for her. Dump it out of the teabag, and use 1 teaspoon for small breed, up to 1 tablespoon for a large breed. Mix it in a *little* canned food, such as Mighty Dog, or Cesar's, and give about 30 minutes before she needs to relax. It will keep her happy, but reduce stress. It can be given as needed.

As she learns that she can cope with car rides and stay relaxed, she won't need tthe tea anymore..

You will find Chamomile at your grocer's in the tea section.. Maybe putting a hood over it's head until the dog is used to traveling in the vehicle ?? It might be the "sensory overload" that is scaring the dog. go to the vet and get a tranc use smaller doses and time goes by the dog will get used to it and u wll not have probs with her and after a while stop the tranc and the dog will be used to the car

i had a german shepherd that never got over it, she puked and drooled everytime we put her in the car Dramamine-my German shepherd takes it when she has to go in the car as she gets car-sick.The dosage for dogs is 2 mg. per pound of body weight;you should give it about 45 minutes before the car -ride,but you should really get the OK from your vet before using it.It works for my dog,although it does make her a little drowsy.
