my maltese bites me even though ..

Brief：
she is only 2-4months i only had her for 4 days. She bites all my famliy members and we all tell her NO everytime she starts biting. my friend told me.. 

it's like a disease.

If you let her bite you she'll bite your friends and think it's a game.

about a month or two of this and she'll be licking you! Hold her down and bite her on the knick that will tell her that you are the alpha dog and stop giving he the toy when she bits you. i deal with animals so i may be of big help to you. she is still quite young so every time she bites you she is testin what she can get away with. you need to show her your not a push over or a door mat. dogs tend to be obedient to a male role or a dominant role. you maltese is basically testing whether she is dominant in this house hold and working out her threats. after the age of 6 months, if she is still being naughty get her spayed. she will calm down alot. Check out the "Dog Whisperer" on tv.he deals with problem dogs..and a good majority are the toy breeds that are nasty.

Don't tolerate it! It will escalate. No biting is ever allowed. You can not "hit" the dog. The concept of rolling the dog over on its back is your showing your dominance. Initially, the pup will bite you, hold it down until it stops. If you back off, you are "surrendering", your pup will win the fight, and all will escalate.

Another method is, when the pup fights you, hold it off the ground, dangling (don't let go and drop it) until it stops and submits. Or, when it goes for your hand "bite it back" using your fingers to hold and pinch its lips, mouth.
