her face & nostrils became swollen, drinks alot, can't control her bladder, sluggish & blah blah blah.

my vet told me that she is allergic to that particular medicine, & basically, she needs to drink alot (& wee alot everywhere & anywhere) & it'll gradually wears off. for my maltese, it takes about 1 week.

she's ok when she was spayed, other than being drowsy for that particular day. Consult your vet. its just a damn dog i mean really now I would. Take him to the vet. Your vet should have already talked with you about this if he needed to go in for an allergic reaction. Depending on the vaccine, there are sometimes alternatives. My mom had a Shitzu that had to take benadryl after each vaccination due to allergic reactions. But Dashchunds, like we have, are not to get a particular vaccine as it can cause them harm.

It might be as simple as giving your dog something to counter act the shot that he's allergic to right before going in to get it. Talk to your vet about your options. Yes, you should be concerned. Recent research is indicating that dogs do not need distemper vaccines *ever* beyond their puppy shots. Speak to your vet about the necessity of giving further distemper vaccines. Titers can be done regularly instead to make sure the dog is healthy. That is "Anaflectic" shock, and it can be fatal with some dogs, but not all. Pretty much the same as a bee sting with both people or dogs.
