First off you need to get them out of a 50 gallon tank. That isn't big enough for one Koi. Mine liked to eat watermelon and oranges. I would section the oranges and slice the watermelon thin and let them float on the top. This was in an 1600 gallon pond though. Wouldn't recommend this in a tank, too messy. They also liked the algae wafers you can get at pet stores or Walmart. You should realize that Koi are part of the carp family and can get 3 to 4 feet long and up to 40 pounds. Not something you want in a 50 gallon tank. lettuce. anything green and leafy i heard that people are using citrus fruit but i haven't tried it yet

usually use zucchini and watermelon I agree. Get them OUT of that tank. They are pond fish and need a lot of room.

They can also eat peas (not canned, but frozen-thawed peas)
