What type of fish can survive a ..

Brief：
Basically, Im going to be gone from december 16 to January 16. What kind of fish can I have where I can leave them alone with some of those 14 day foo.. 

See if a neighbor can come in and care for the fish while you are gone. the best thing to do is go to walmart and buy an automatic feeder and follow the directions Don't buy fish, or at least don't get attached to them. Automatic feeders generally don't work well. They put to much in, and foul the water. Also you need to clean the gravel in a tank weekly, and change out some of the water. What do you mean, "can I have"? Don't you have them yet? If not, don't get them yet. Wait until you come home.

Some fish can go as long as 2-3 weeks without eating if they are in super condition, but they all need to have partial water changes done every week.

Have you no friends that aren't idiots? Relatives? Someone who could drop in and feed every 3-4 days and do a small (20%) water change once a week.

If you have no problem buying new ones, give them back to the pet store, at least their deaths won't be on your conscience.
