Why my guppies always lose some part of their tail fin? Water problem (PH too high) or coz of fighting or any other reason?

Answers:

Test your PH first, it should be around a nice comfy 6.8-7.0 test kits are at any petstore. Also watch your fish for a while, see if there is any aggression. Sometimes they like to nip at each others tails when they are being defensive.

And purchasing medicine for fins such as melafix should help the fins regrow nicer and quicker. someone is nipping their fins. If you have other types of fish in with them watch for awhile. If not, the water quality could be the problem. More likely being nipped. bite each other sometimes , that's how they play probably fin rot. make sure that your water parameters are in check.
