why do my male guppies keep dyin..

i had 2 males and 2 females.will they live without a groom?they already look pregnant without a groom boy!they are living a life ASL: 9 YEARS, BOY,ELL..

When I 1st started having guPs & other fish, they kept on dying without any notice. Then I got a whole batch of guPs from a friend (about 30 Gups) & they miraculously lived 4 -3yrs. guPs & all other fish like swimming & living with all their fish friends & companies that's Y fish in lake hardly die 'coz they have large companies.

Keep the water warm around 23C or take all ur equipment out from the tank & directly put ur tank under the sun. Sun light will kill some bacteria. B sure 2 clean ur tank throughly after it gets dirT & change water frequently but put the water 1st under sun 4 2 days.

Females do live without males & 1ce they get breeding, they always do after each month or so. The friend who gave me all those guPs 1st only had 1 female in that tank, after a few days that female breed & her generation passes on.

My suggestion is that get more guPs & keep water & their food CLEAN. type guppie care sheet into google well i suggest try changeing the water in the fish bowl . or try putting more sand on the bottom of the tank . check the themometer of the tempitture, the water might be too hot. It's hare do tell why they keep dying without info on their living enviroment. But the girls will do fine without mates. If you want to try again though, get your fish at petsmat, they are healthier than a lot of other places, and you should have two females for ever male in your tank. The males need two to keep up with their reproducing needs. They will get stressed with out enough females and may stress out the females by mating them too much.
