95% of the people answering the fish questions have no idea what they are talking about.and of the 5% who do I figure most of those are taking a break from an actual fish forum.
I come on here and answer questions once in awhile but I always end it with the same phrase : "I suggest you join fishindex.com so we can better help you out,the fish section here on PetQnA.com is a joke.

I agree with you 100%. I don't understand either why people with absolutely no clue answer questions. And I beg to differ with goldfish being good beginner fish. 99% of these people have them in a friggin bowl with no filter, and clean the water every 2 weeks, and then wonder why it's laying on it's side. They're not a good beginner fish, because they're one of the messiest fish and will require lots of maintenance. The only difference is, you can get them for 12 cents a piece. Just my 2 cents. Hmm. Bettas and Goldfish are generally both good beginner fish, easy to care for, and hardy.
I have also seen your answers (particularly on betta questions) and I am definately not impressed. Misinformation = bad.
