What show colors go with a grey ..

Brief：
If I use my light grey Perch for SCA events, what color barding would look best? Hes mostly whitish with speckles, and his legs are darker dapple. htt.. 

Katie Charcoal, black, cobalt blue. I had a fleabitten grey arab and the judges LOVED him in those colors. Good luck! I think cobalt blue or a purple would look perfect.

I personally love cobalt blue. burgundy red the black would look better but u might trie some purple ribbon TEAL!!! As a fellow re -enactor :), 18th Century Dragoon work here !

I like to see the reds & the deep royal purples on barding.

Lovely.I think the whole checker board thing is WAY over used.

JMHO I use black boarder with Burgundy or royal blue on my grey. I received tons of compliments.

On your grey with the darker points I think any color would be beautiful with black boarder bringing your horses darker points. I personally love the Black with Burgundy. Any color really pink black blue red purple if you are gonna do english with him/her the only color choice really is the under shirt then like black and navy and steel gray and hunter coats and and beige or canary breeches with black boots anything conservitive then in western you can go out on bright colors but if your going to show your first year dont go to wild you will stand out to much and one mistake will cost you the class i love gray horses with any kind of blue! i think it looks so great together! so i would go with blues and black and you could even throw white in there. I would deff. say purple, violet or periwinkle something along those lines.
