Bay, Black, Dark Bay/Brown, Chestnut, Gray, Roan, Palomino and White.

This is mentioned in the Rule book

3. Applying the principles of two-coat color inheritance, that is, a chestnut sire and a chestnut dam must produce a chestnut or, in some instances, a palomino foal; and a gray/roan foal must have at least one gray/roan parent. Because they dont have the paint horse geentics, you might be able to cross a paint and a thoroughbred to make a paint, but otherwise, you're out of luck.

*P*H*S* tb's dont have 'coloured' genes in them. there are more and more coloured tb types nowadays tho You can get sabino and overo Thoroughbreds, some are very heavily marked. Thoroughbreds do not carry the Tobiano gene though. http://www.angelfire.com/on3/truecolours... You can't get them beacause it isn't in there genetic makeup however a mixed breed you could.

Kacie Someone posted a link to some very interesting colored thoroughbreds including sabino, brindle, snowflake. There are also registered Jockey Club thoroughbreds that are palomino, white, and buckskin, but thoroughbreds do not carry the correct color genes to pass along pinto coloring, normally. There is at least one horse, I know, someone here posted about it, that was foaled to a bay TB mare, by a bay TB stallion, and ended up being bay & white because of a mostly white great grandfather a while back on the mare's side.
