You need to get this fixed you horse is not getting enough food and spilling out its mouth he will start to loose weight and energy. Please don't let him suffer,get this fixed right away. to reach the food might need its teeth floated. If it isn't trying to reach the food from a barred feeder, and is actually chewing with his head tilted, he may have problems with his teeth. It may be worth having the vet out to check and float his teeth.

Definetly get your horse dentist out or vet if he will do it and get those teeth checked for sure he has teeth problems and his teeth need to be looked at right away if not he'll start losing weight and could possibly get an infection from the sharp points on his teeth cutting the inside of his cheeks and could possibly choke or colic from not chewing his food properly. if you ride this horse you will also have problems when you apply bit pressure. horses need their teeth floated or at least checked if they need to be floated every year some horses, mostly older ones and those prone to hooks twice a year. call your vet and set up an appointment of call a qualified equine dentist... it is very important that you get his teeth checked. sore tooth I agree with most of the rest here it is a classic sign of needing its teeth flaoted or maybe even bad wolfe teeth. Alothough some horses do it out of habit... I would still get his teeth checked to make sure You should have his or her teeth checked they probably need to be floated . I am pretty sure a horse should not do that! There may be something bothering it! you should have a vet come look at the horse and tell them wat the horse is doing!
