Whoa is the first one I teach from the ground then I work to all the rest. Even sidepassing and pivots on the front and rear. Yes it is while you are breaking it in it should learn voice commands, as this will help later on. I know nothing about horses. But my wife says yes it is. Yeah almost definitely.

xx I think that the horse needs to know the voice commands in order to lunge correctly. I personally would bridle the horse and teach it to stand, walk, trot, ect along side me before i put it on the lunge. hope this helps! i dunno? I would say to teach all commands in a round pen so your horse will learn commands, as well as obey you.
