Will ferrets attract mice?

Brief：
I recently got a ferret and have suddenly had a problem with mice in my house. Until now I have never seen any signs of mice, now I catch the running ..

No I have never had this problem or had any body tell me they had this problem. I suggest getting a cat. I had the same problem when I got some Fancy-Rats; All those people I spoke to told me that the presence of rats would almost guarantee a mouse free house. Unfortunately this wasnt true and we spotted several mice in the living room soon after. in fact on one particular instance i caught two mice sat in the rats food bowl, in their cage eating the food. funny thing is that the lazy overfed rats just sat there and watched themselves being robbed.

I didnt accept that it was the presence of the rats in the house that encouraged the mice, but am happy to accnowledge that the large amounts of rat-food in the house may have brought them in. Ferrets eat mice - frequently - with gusto. I can't imagine them attracting mice unless you leave bags of food around and they the FOOD will. i've had 2 ferrets for 6 years now and the only mice i ever saw were the 2 i had as pets. there's no connection. LOL, ferrets are carnivores and, if anything, would scare the mice away. So their is no connection. If it is getting colder where you live then the mice might be coming inside for the winter. Don't let your ferret hunt or eat them though. Mice do fight back or they could have a disease. NO!

If any thing Ferrets will kill mice, hamsters, Rats.

We have four Ferrets, and have never had a mouse in our home.
