I'd say yes, but the only way to find out is if you try. I have 2 hamsters and i thought that I could put them in the same cage, but the older hamster beat the crap out of the little guy. So I had to buy another cage. And since then we've tried to put the younger hamster with theolder one, he still trys to hurt him. Its becasue the older hamster has had the cage to him self for so long. that he is seeing the younger hamster as an invader upon his terriotry so he will fight him until he leaves or he dies. so he can reclaim his space. So I would recommend keeping them seperate or the younger one will more than likely be killed. I had the same thing. It is sort of a territory thing. You can only put them in the same cage if they are brothers or sisters and have been together since birth. ya, they probably would rip eachother apart males of any kind are territorial so they will fight til their death just to claim that it is their cage.

good luck it's possability that they start fighting. Only if one is gay : ) yes! hamsters are solitary little critters and already have enough trouble breeding. NO syrians must be kept seprate, even siblins as thery are VERY teritorial and will fight to the death. Yes they will fight, syrians are very solitary and will fight if put togeather. NO.. syrians are to be KEPT APART!

if you put them togehter even though their relative then they'll kill each other. plus male hamsters are more terrotorial than females.
