Rabbits, they are quiet, they don't get sick of pellets as easily as dogs can. You can have really small pygmy rabbits to large rabbits the size of cats, depending on which breed you get. They are relatively low mainteance, their poop is small and circular, so its easy to clean up, and it doesn't smell, unless they have diarrhea or something. Plus you can use their poop as fertilizer for your plants. The only problem is that they might chew on things too much, and that they shed their fur easily.
