it hurts me too. i have an aunt who rescues abused and neglected animals, and it makes me sad knowing there's ppl out there who would be so cruel to do such a thing to such beautiful creatures. there are some people who just dont know the value of life.. and thats sad. Because they can't do anything about it, they are helpless and since animals love their owners they stay because that is who they know they don't know any difference. It's very sad and wrong. The worse thing about it is that the abuser get only a small fine or a little time in jail. They should be treated like everyone else who abuses humans. people abusing and killing other people should hurt you more it is very sad. i believe these people abuse little creatures because they are messed up inside. Scared to face someone their own size so they take it out on what they can. Simply because it in their power to do so. They have a very mean streak in themselves. Because they are sick, no other word for it, just the same for people who abuse children, they are cowards picking on the small and innocent that can't defend themselves, they wouldn't have the guts to pick on someone their own size, so they go after the small and weak. They are despicable scum, there is no place in society for these creeps. Whenever I see animal abuse I hurt inside, it leaves me heartbroken. I will probably never understand why they do this.

I believe though, that it may have to do with the lack of understanding. Everyone is different. Sometimes I forget to turn my light off before I leave the house, or to zip up my fly,(whatever) because I don't care for these things, they aren't anything important to me.
