That would be why if its not old. Neutering will make him less aggressive and territorial. He will still be VERY active. he might be a little less active for a while because, obviously, he won't feel very good. But after a month or so he should return to his normal spunky self. Not necessarily less active, but definitely less aggressive. Neutered rabbits bite, growl and don't make their territory as much as unfixed bunnies. It is also very important to neuter your rabbit if you have a female rabbbit because rabbits reproduce very quickily. It is especially important to have female rabbits fixed because they are extreamly prone to cancer in their reproductive organs which is deadly. Both of my rabbits are fixed and they still run and hop all over the place. no, he wont be less active, just he wont spray and mark spots as hiz. he will be less agressive, and sweeter. he'll loose enery as he hits hi adult years (3 years and up) i did the same thing 4 my bunny wally=) Neutering reduces aggression and does not affect his general behaviour. Depending on the size of your bunny depends on his level of activity. Smaller bunnies are usually more active than the larger breeds regardless of neutering. All rabbits need to be neutered and get him a neutered female for company. We all need someone to snuggle up to at night! Good luck. I should say less active as they grow older.
Weve got two female rabbits,one of them is ok but the other when she isnt pleased she kicks everything around the hutch,theyve been out all summer and sleeping in the greenhouse on hay,but back in hutch now winter's on its way.Ask your vet if neutering will work for him.
