Lizard help?

I found a small lizard and i cannot find out wat kind it is. it;s got a brown body and very small yellow-white-ish dots on its side, the belly is an o.. 

I found a small lizard and i cannot find out wat kind it is. it;s got a brown body and very small yellow-white-ish dots on its side, the belly is an off-white-ish colour. I was in western Germany wen i found it. i found it near a creek. size is about 1-2 inches long.

it's poisonous..be very careful. I hope you didn't touch it, the poison takes about 48 hours to really get into your system, and you won't show any symptoms till then, but then it's too late What a dumb answer. Your lizard sounds like a sand lizard.

Hope this helps see if it likes water. if it does, then it is probably a salamander or a water lizard. if it doesnt, its probably a desert creature. take it to a pet store or vet and they will tell you what it is, and they will also tell you if they make good pets, and if you want to keep it they will tell you what kind of food and how big of a tank.
