At least he died doing what he loved best and that's what we'll continue to do now he's gone. He touched the lives of soooo many people and made me realise that all animals are beautiful (still haven't conquered my fear on spiders yet)

R.I.P xXx erm..really cant think of anything good to be honest. ok quite liked his programes, very brave man, entertaining to watch I woke up and saw the news. I think it's pretty sad he was great. Crap way to die. I thought a croc or snake would get him not a crappy fish.

He was very young.Boo Hoo He was a great guy, that has don't a lot in his 44 years of life. He was all ways pushing him self to the edge to get the things he wanted. I think he was a good entertainer and he will be remembered for years to come. he was a genuinely friendly man who loved nature.

imagine you go to work and something at work causes you to lose your life? your family will understand because that is what you wanted to do and what you studied for and what your passion in life is.

so that is exactly what happened to him.

he is deeply missed.

God bless his family He was a man dedicated to learning about animals and teaching others about animals. He was not afraid to try the dangerous stunts, or to go where "no other man has gone before." He seemed to have such a drive to learn more about animals that he often put his own safety at risk. We should be grateful for the things he has taught us. He will be missed greatly. i don't celebrate anyone's life. it was what it was. he took dangerous chances with his life, and ultimately, if he really had a balanced outlook on life, he'd think, my son and wife need me, what will happen if , while i'm taking these idiotic chances with my life, i get killed? well, he got his answer. if you play with the bulls, yer gonna get the horn. Irwin Family, I think the whole world are thinking of you at this sad time. Steve was a fantastic Husband, Father, Son, Friend and Zoologist! He made everyone smile! His legacey will live on forever. He will sadly be missed. An absolute legend!
