Why isnt my ferret interested in..

Her name is Maya. She is 7 months old. I buy her the balls witht he little bells but she sniffs it and leaves it alone!! Its like she likes things tha..

Her name is Maya. She is 7 months old. I buy her the balls witht he little bells but she sniffs it and leaves it alone!! It's like she likes things that she can't have like my shoes or flowers in my house! What should I do with her? I just wasted 4 hours of playtime on shoes! lol. Should I makeup games and stuff like that! Help! I want her to get tired easily but have fun at the same time!

i hvae 3 ferrets and mine always played with excetp for one.but one time i bought some baby keys and i think she thought that they were mine and she took them played with them.making up games is a really good idea but get her used to the toys and even tease her in a nice way and maybe she catch on!!=)

good luck!! she knows what she wants ! Well I had the same problem with my ferret who was a girl and went and got another ferret (girl), so she would have a friend to play with. I did this because ferrets usually live in a colony in the wild and they do everything together. You should either get her a companion or mate just to see, or take her to the pet store and see how she reacts around other ferrets. Ferrets like to acquire things. They are collectors like dogs and crows are. Some pet ferrets will play with the toys, but some have more of a wild streak and will look for things to steal. It is just in their nature to take things.

One thing you might do is buy her some toys, but not give them to her. Let her see you play with them and act like you enjoy them. Then just put them down where she can see them and leave the room. Since ferrets are so curious, she'll probably want to take them and play with them too.
