I got my guinea pig few days ago and he is a baby and no matter when I hold my guinea pig, he always does this sound. always. when he is on me, he does this sound. is something wrong or he just dont like to be held?

That sound is totally normal. He's just chuttering. It's actually a good thing if he is making that noise when you hold him. He is comfortable enough to talk while in your hands. Way to go!

I just played your clip and one of my boys went crazy! He wheeked and wheeked and is now looking around for the other of his kind! lol Guinea pigs naturally make squeally sounds.

My two guinea pigs mostly squeal when they are hungry.

Also, if you notice a chirping sort of sound when you are petting, it usually means they like it.

Try giving them more food and some hay, too. They like to be fat, but don't give them too much.

It also may be that he is adjusting to a new home.

But keep in mind baby guinea pigs eat more. This sound is completely normal. This is his way of "talking" to you! He's just "chatting".

By the way, your Abbyruvian pig is adorable! They Love to make noise... I've had pigs for about...10 years. I just listened to your video, sounds like he's just talking to you. Good luck with your new pig. Some other noises they make are like a squealing noise when they're hungry or don't like something, and a purring noise when they enjoy something. And if they are really happy they'll run around in they're cage jumping and chattering. they make that a squealyish sound when they are happy. Rub is back near his back legs. Congrats on you new pig! I love them so much! I used to have tons running around my backyard. They breed like crazy. I don't have anymore though:(

He looks exactly like my first guinea pig!! That's a happy sound. You've only had him a few days? Wow he has warmed up to you very fast then! I think he's going to be a very confident little pigger! He loves you.
