Now I see why so many pets die because of lazy, misinformed, childish owners. If you're getting a pet, know your stuff and don't put a dead bird in its cage. no I don't know, but it would be slightly funny if it did, but also a little sad...... I have never heard of a bird eating guinea pig. I think you are safe... No but don't try I have no idea but why would you do that? Guinea pigs are herbivores. They don't eat birds. I'm more concerned about the bird attacking the guinea pig. And why are you putting them together in the first place?!?! Do NOT put a bird in with your pig. They are not meant to be together. Pigs should only be housed with other pigs. Period.

Cavies are herbivores & do not eat other animals. That doesn't mean though that it wouldn't bite the bird in defense or the bird wouldn't injure your pig in defense. no. guinea pigs are complete herbivores. they wont even touch meat.

i had a wild finch that wandered into my house and he kept him/her(?) inside the piggy's cage for a while. nothing happend. HERBIVORE means only eats plants that's what a Guiana pig eats. Please don't get any pet or have kids your question worries me. When I worked at a pet store I had to turn away customers for the fact of their ill knowledge. How would you feel if someone put you in a cage and only fed you dead birds? But then someone demented enough to ask a question like that might enjoy it NOO I DUNT TINK SO.
