Will my hamster have babies??

she mated 20 days ago and shes a syrain hamster and they are supposed to have them after 18 days shes had a litter before but with a different male. h..

she mated 20 days ago and shes a syrain hamster and they are supposed to have them after 18 days shes had a litter before but with a different male. her behaivor has changed she mad a big nest and a little one right beside it and shes been sleeping alot more and shes gotten a little bit bigger so please help!

Keep a close eye on her, I'd say she's having them today, probably in the very late night/early morning.

If she doesn't have them soon here, take her to the vet immediately, she could be having some problems giving birth. ): she might be late you should have babies in a few days give her time yeah Just Keep A Eye On Her,Give Her Space,Don't Spray Room Spray Were she is,No Loud Music,Scrambled Eggs (no herbs etc) Cooked Chicken,Bread Soaked in Milk,This is good for her engery and will be handy for her to help her recover from the litter,If she is Pregnant Then You Must Wait.Good Luck :)

If In Any Doubt Go See A Vet give the gestation period a little longer, ( and throw in a cucumber that has not been mad e into a pickle., yet) She could be a little late, gestation periods vary. Maybe she is giving birth to a bigger litter this time, so it would take much longer. It's not common for them to be late, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Hope I have helped! Syrian gestation is 16-18 days. Does she look pregnant? I would guess they had fun but did nothing serious 20 days ago. How old is she? Syrian menopause is around 12 months. Just like humans it's a guesstimate of age. Even if she is menopausal she will still go into heat every 4 days and stand for males. She may have lost 1 or 2 babies. There should be at least 1 left because you said she did get a little bigger. She will probably have them by tomorrow. keep your eye on the hamster. and if the litter move possibly by chance then you have babies. I found that mine had babies and she buried them in the litter so I saw them moving. She might be late getting her hamster but don't worry if she doesn't have babies. Good Luck!!!!
