I have owned 4 mice in the past (not all at the same time). The first mouse I had, I was about 10 years old and I was very rough with her, but she never bit me and she was always very gentle no matter how rough I was. The second two mice I got a few years later, got in a pair. One of them never bit me, except to nibble on my hand a bit when I left it motionless in the cage. The other one bit a little when she was unfamiliar with me, but over time she became very very tame and friendly. The last mouse I had never ever bit me.

So to my experience, it really depends on the personality of the mouse. The only mouse I had that bit me was actually my favourite one, because she was feisty and had a strong personality. After she was tame she didn't bite and she would let me nuzzle her under the ears and cuddle her. The rest were always very gentle and never bit. So unless you mistreat your mice very badly (in which case they will learn to always bite you in self defense), I would say the vast majority of mice are very gentle and do not bite, at least not with the intention of hurting you. Depends- do you smell like cheese? If you treat it poorly, yes. Otherwise, no. yes they tend to bite. pick it up by the tail. never wrap your hand around it. but you can pick it up by the tail and let it walk on you. it is the restricktion that makes them bite. If it has a mouth, it can and will bite. Mice bite; if you're afraid to hold her then you shouldn't have gotten her. You never know. If it smells food on your hand when you put you hand in, it could. If you scare the female by just grabbing her yes. Put her favorite treat on your hand and let her eat it. She will get comftarble. Mice do bite sometimes. Different mice have different personalities. Approach slowly until you get to know your mouse. My daughter has pet Mice. The older one now bites because he can't see well and thinks you have food. mice can make good pets; personally i prefer rats which i have had many of. the best way to get your mouse to trust your fingers is to give her treats. soon she will love your fingers because that means treat! then you will be able to touch her without fear of getting bit - maybe just a nibble to see what you taste like - or what you have been eating... mice do bite however when they are very scared and just give her time to get used to you and then start handling her. Well, all animals have the opportunity to bite. Some mice are kind and gentle but others can have the urge to bite. I had two mice once (but one of them got eaten by the other one and then that one died because he became so fat and sick. ) and we did not know if they would bite. Honestly there is no way to tell, you SHOULD NOT WEAR ANY PROTECTION ON YOUR HANDS! This will make them want to bite! The more you handle your mouse, the better off and more comfortable with you she'll be.

(I do prefer rats though. They're smarter, live longer, and don't poop and pee all over you like mice do.) if you hurt her then yes but otherwise i dont think so i have a male and female and they both are so sweet and loveable and nither one has ever went to bite me
